My name is Gonçalo Paiva, but Gonzi to almost everyone. I am a certified mountain guide in Geotourism and I like to think that I remain, above all, a curious explorer, always looking for something new to discover. The Serra da Estrela is the perfect place for that. I love hiking in the mountains, getting lost in their nooks and crannies, meeting the local people and hearing the stories and traditions passed down through generations. And then there's the food! 😄 A good cheese, a small producer with a story to tell, or that table where you want to stay a little longer. That's what I like to share with those who come to visit the region. No two people are alike, nor are any two days alike. That's why I like to let things happen naturally: hiking, talking, discovering places, tasting good things, or simply stopping and appreciating the moment. Ultimately, I like to show the Serra da Estrela as I live it, share what makes me happy here, and meet fantastic people along the way.
