How do I reserve a tour or experience?
Send us your travel dates and your interests. We reply within 24 hours with a proposal: route, prices, what to bring and how the logistics work. You can also reach us by email, phone or WhatsApp — or in person, in Gouveia.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the group size, the type of day, its duration and any special requests. The Around the Star Trip — eight hours — starts at 70 € per person. Everything else is quoted personally after we talk.
Which languages are available?
English or Portuguese, with the guide himself. Other languages are possible through trusted local partner guides.
Can the day be customised?
Completely. Preferences, fitness, accessibility and timing are all adjustable, stops are flexible, and half-days are available.
Is transport included?
Yes, whenever it is needed — pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation, in a vehicle sized to the group. Details come with your proposal.
Do you do transfers to Serra da Estrela?
Yes — pick-up anywhere in Portugal, Lisbon and Porto included. The price depends on distance, group and itinerary.
Is this suitable for everyone?
Yes. All ages, adapted to fitness and to accessibility needs. Tell us what you need and we plan for it.
What should I bring?
You get a personalised checklist once the day is booked. In general: comfortable shoes, clothing for the conditions, and water.
What if the weather changes?
Mountain weather writes its own plan. For safety, routes or availability may change — we adapt the day, reschedule it, or propose a better alternative.
Are you a licensed company?
Yes. Official and insured, registered with Turismo de Portugal under RNAAT 398/2026, and recognised as a Nature Tourism company by the ICNF.
Do you support the local community?
Yes — we work with local people, producers and guides wherever we can, and we practise eco-friendly, responsible, slow travel.
